(3.2/5 based on 260+ reviews on the web)
Named after the nearby Orange Fort, which was built by the Dutch settlers in 1631, Forte Orange Beach is known for calm blue waters and numerous bars serving grilled fish right on the sand. The beach is also home to the sea mammals preservation center, which aims to protect endangered sea creatures of this area and teach visitors about renewable ways of using our natural resources. Drop by this educational spot with the whole family, or spend a quiet day of swimming and sunbathing on the warm white sands of this peaceful beach. From this spot you can also catch a boat or raft crossing the Jaguaribe River to the small islet, a secluded place favored by swimmers and divers. • It is a beach that doesn't seem to have had much contact with the man, but is close to everything and it's still pretty nice.

  • the nature of the place is wonderful, I was trites because the place is unkempt, people who survive of this place are the own that don't care, a lot of garbage thrown a lot of dirt in places.

  • The beach is in front of the Fort Orange and is a quiet place for a shower. Don't have waves, is cold and the water is quite green, but not enough to be an extraordinary beach. Worth a visit if you are around.
