  • Going by the Rod. Bunjiro Nakao, leaving on the right at Km 85 (Neighborhood Piratuba) anyone can access to the dam. The dam is huge, has more than 50 km, passing by 6 municipalities, there are waterfalls, prainha, native forest, a lot of people boating Jet sky, boat, other fishing. It's that there are other places, however I wouldn't know inform

  • Located in the neighborhood access Piratuba, you reach the dam Itupararanga, a small freshwater beach. Nice place and very nice to reunite the family

  • The dam is a lush place, with possibilities to practice various water sports modalities, comprises 6 municipalities and none of them provides residents or visitors to support tourism infrastructure. In Mairinque for example there is a club that offers a "garage" for associated boats, but the entry is limited to members, there are in the municipality Ibiúna several real estate developments that margeam the dam, but are condos and therefore only the tenants can take advantage. Tourists and visitors often have difficulties to access the margins of the reservoir because almost always are private properties, I believe that if the Executive power of municipalities to invest in aquatic clubs, recreation or promote sporting events like: Stand up Paddle, kayaks, motonáuticas with beacons, and at certain points had a minimum structure as: sanitary containers with snacks, juices and meals would be possible to promote sustainable tourism with the use and management of spaces and generate wealth for the municipality.
