  • Folks from the local University are still putting the Fort together. Unfortunately the place was totally vandalized. The 60s. Nevertheless, great history lesson. And the view of the huge ships coming ...  more »
  • The Fort is pretty cool. Is a historical gem of the IDEs of colony Brazil. Unfortunately is badly insulated and apparently abandoned. Responsibility for the Fort is the city of Guaruja, which in recent years have not handled well. It seems that the current Mayor will give attention to this important historical icon. The problems start at the arrival, because the neighborhood is dangerous and your neighborhood teeming with unemployed drug users. Inside, there is no uniform Guide to conduct the visit. Worth knowing for the architecture, but it's too bad to see the indifference of the Government.

  • Great place of you like history. Nice, clean, with a knowledgeable guide, we spent about an hour and a half touring the place, looking at maps, talking about the city, the port, and watching the huge ships come in and out of the canal.
  • Fantastic place, the second to be built in Brazil, erected by the Spaniards that want to mark your presence in our territory. Lack an investment to become a tourist spot.

  • The fortress is beautiful and has great historical value for the region, knowledge was transmitted by the Guide. Unfortunately the interior doesn't have many attractions, but the view of the Bay makes up for.

  • Very nice site with guide available, the visit is for free with the right local history class to visit has to cross the channel by the port of santos, the only cost of the tour is the value of the atravesia boat.
