Pico Alto, Guaramiranga

(3.6/5 based on 500+ reviews on the web)
Looming above the smallest town of the northeastern state of Ceará is Pico Alto, the highest mountain in the region. At 1,114 meters (3,655 ft), the peak is part of the Serra de Baturité, home to a diverse community of plants and animals. Trek to the top for a panoramic view of the verdant Baturité range. The observation point at the top can be accessed by a well-kept footpath or asphalt road. The climb is quite steep, so proper shoes are a must. This part of the country is famous for its temperate climate and lush green scenery. Strong wind gusts are possible at the top, though, so warm clothing for hikers is highly recommended. • Beautiful view of the region. Good for pictures and such. But nothing too much. I don't know if there's a trail or something that would be more interesting. But it's a nice place to go if you are around. Has a stall that sells coconut water upstairs.

  • Very nice, great for recording pictures. Igelizmente does not have an adequate structure not suitable for conservation a point with such a landscape. On the day we went, there were two carts selling some stuff, but nothing very interesting. Worth the trip to the site.

  • A location with a beautiful view, a hot chocolate "stowaway" (kkkk). You enter by a road and turns. City Hall could invest more in that location or even create another similar, with room for visitors (the São Benedito tram style) ...
