Pico Alto, Guaramiranga

#1 of 6 in Things to do in Guaramiranga
Looming above the smallest town of the northeastern state of Ceará is Pico Alto, the highest mountain in the region. At 1,114 meters (3,655 ft), the peak is part of the Serra de Baturité, home to a diverse community of plants and animals. Trek to the top for a panoramic view of the verdant Baturité range. The observation point at the top can be accessed by a well-kept footpath or asphalt road. The climb is quite steep, so proper shoes are a must. This part of the country is famous for its temperate climate and lush green scenery. Strong wind gusts are possible at the top, though, so warm clothing for hikers is highly recommended. • Location without any structure. You goes a huge way and on top only has a kiosk. If you are interested in going, it is interesting to take food, drink, and etc.

  • A very cool place to meet, the most beautiful views in the State. Go Guaramiranga and not go to pico alto, is not having completed the journey.
