Guarajuba Beach, Guarajuba

4.5
#1 of 7 in Things to do in Camacari
Guarajuba Beach has everything a beach should have: soft sand, gentle waves that ebb and flow, and sunshine; however, the highlight of this strip of sand is the food. Take a tour of the kiosks and order prawns, or a large pastel filled with shrimp. Look for fried fish and locally made cakes. Ice cold beer is the perfect pairing for all of these Brazilian dishes and its served up frosty at Guarajuba Beach. • I've been in Guarajuba for over twenty years, was eager to go back here! The square is still super like. The "City" still apparently small. (Actually guarajuba is a subdivision of the municipality of Camaçari). In guarajuba several gated communities, but I stayed, I can only speak from the beach! Exactly as I remembered! The reefs form a barrier and many natural pools, under which it is possible to walk and stare at the little fish and sea urchins. Eat a stew in the Golden Heron kiosk, if I'm not mistaken about the name, but was the best moqueca of life. The name wasn't exactly that, the Sushen (cute waiter) suggested this dish (fish and shrimp were breaded and then made the stew). The dish was for four people, I and my husband ate it all. We almost died after! It was great! RS

  • The waves are amazing, crystal clear water. However, very high tide, the swimmers will be careful. Great for surfers.

  • The beach has dark sands but not too thick. It's not a quiet beach, there are a lot of waves and currents.

  • Perfect beach-beautiful.
  • Guarajuba Beach, is located at 42 Km from Luis Eduardo Magalhães international airport, with good infrastructure, security, beautiful beaches (excellent for bathing, walking and sports such as surfing, diving, SUP among others more). Is a region blessed by natural beauty, with an area of environmental Preservation should be more enforced and respected in order to really preserve what Guarajuba has to offer; your NATURAL beauty! Despite being a good place for summer, live and invest, you must take care to ensure that the private interest of some real estate entrepreneurs do not continue prevailing over the public interest with the growing real estate expeculação. The organs responsible for environmental oversight should look with more attention to the region that has been so punished lately. Are also frequent fires, buildings without the slightest concern for the environment, killing animals, vegetation and pollution of the lagoon of Guarajuba, that so many species depend on for survival. It is worth remembering that what attracts people Guarajuba beach just harmôinico contact with nature.

  • A lot of leisure option. The sand to the sea the distance is too short.--little space. Above-average price

  • Beautiful emerald green water, but in the umbrellas that you offer to consume (entering right) charge you a lot! In the drinks they manage and collect soda apart, very premeditated.

Where to stay in Camacari

The main city offers a developed urban area with a good number of hotels, from the simple to the luxurious, and primarily aimed at business travelers. Far more popular with tourists is the Atlantic coast, where a fine set of budget-to-luxury pousadas (guesthouses) enjoy sea views and various amenities. Look to the main coastal roads for a diverse range of places to stay, with their proximity to local towns and the convenience of the coastal road making exploration of the local area simple.
