The movement of animals was too large, the city on the banks of Lake Guaíba lived almost status of big business. Today what's left of this season, and only the facade, the building was listed, but didn't go through restoration, despite this the structure still persists and is very beautiful. Worth knowing or look.

Many years ago, the slaughterhouse was a bubbly movement in this city, not only by the number of employees and the amount of cattle that abatia. But gradually reducing production and decreased operational framework, until your "break". And so, just a giant of this land and became a white elephant, damaged by time and without maintenance. Today is just a skeleton of thick stone walls, no roof. I think it should even be "overthrown" as public heritage and reformed so that everyone could see him. This building is relatively close to my residence and I spend at least twice a day in front of him.
