Inaugurated in 1936 and remodeled in 2003, Praca Major Nicoletti is a recognizable feature of the city. Housing the church of St. Peter and the Palais des Festival alongside a Great Lawn that locals use as a place to gather. It is not only a meeting place for people, but it is also a place where history meets contemporary life as is evidenced in the architecture lining the plaza. Inside one of these buildings, you'll find a tourist information center and public bathrooms that may come in handy after a day of shopping at the malls that line the lawn.
