Mini Mundo, Gramado

4.5
#2 of 91 in Things to do in Gramado
Some of the world’s best known buildings are reproduced in a 1:24 scale at Mini Mundo, one of the city’s major tourist attractions. Take a walk through the park’s alleys to see miniature reproductions of well-known Brazilian landmarks, such as Ouro Preto’s iconic São Francisco de Assis Church. There are over 170 scale models here, including replicas of contemporary buildings, like the modern Bariloche Airport in Argentina. Take a ride on the park’s scenic railway to see monuments, houses, bridges, windmills, and train stations, all painstakingly reproduced and scattered around the site’s lush gardens. Created in the 1980s by a German immigrant, who began building these models to please his grandchildren, the park is a popular venue for birthday parties and family celebrations. I liked it, even with several negative reviews. Accept half price for students, given the student standardized document. The in you get a newspaper, read, you have a challenge that if you complete earns a toast. Don't give up being accompanied by a Park Guide, he goes telling the stories of each scenario and giving tips to take pictures at cool angles.

A good place to go with kids since it is raining as it is outdoors. Have a good coffee shop for a cappuccino after the ride.

Fantastic site with buildings in small size, but where it is possible to walk between the buildings, houses, railroads, a delight to go with kids, but for sure the adults are also fascinated. Another positive point, besides the good service, clean, with restrooms and a nice changing table! Also has a few toys for children, playgrounds, a cup of coffee. Super recommended to go with children, including small!

Fantastic place... From my perspective, much better than Mini World, in France. There is a beautiful history behind the creation of this great attraction!
