  • An old Italian settler's House was sold and was going to be demolished, until the city of gramado bought and reassembled on site for visiting tourists. Is charged a fee of 3 reais per person. It's a small house typical of Italian settlers, many items have been donated by them, all well remounted, the downstairs are the tools and the barrels. It's no big deal, but for real 3 is a little culture and 20 minutes well spent.

  • Located in the square of the ethnic groups, the House was transformed into a Museum, features many old items, which reminded me and gave me miss my Grandfather. Good to remember how it was sustained the coming and colonization held by Italian people.

  • Who is descended from Italian, definitely worth the visit! Situated in the square of Ethnicities, is an Italian House of 1931 that was removed from the rural area of Lawn and reassembled here. Has typical furniture and fixtures of the season, old photos, etc. The Luana entertained us and explained quickly some of that history and left us free to visit the site. 3.00 R$ for help in maintaining the House, made by Circollo Trentino.

  • Amazing place ... Nearly impossible to describe how I felt when I entered the House. Seemed to be going back in time. Images from my childhood came back as if he was reliving the whole thing ... Identical tiles, paintings of family, the crucifix above the bed! Be in Lawn and visit this memorial was a trip back in time.

  • SQUARE of ETHNICITIES/HOME of SETTLER/MEMORIAL ITALIAN HOUSE Duration: 90 min for my walk cost for 2 adults and 1 child (jan/2017): 0 what we think of the ride: the square is beautiful and well cared for, at the time of the Christmas light there are some embellishments, a little short of those of the rest of the city. There is a fair of crafts, fair prices. There is also a shop that sells some cheeses, jam, grape juice very good and fair prices. Settler's house selling cakes, pies and cookies-good, fresh and with good price. My tip is for bread with sausage, which is actually a bread made with chunks of sausage in the middle of the dough (here in Minas, bread with sausage is a salt bread, sliced and stuffed with a slice of sausage). Dough very different, very good, it's worth a try, and the best, very cheap by the standards of lawn. There is also an Italian House where are exposed some historical objects, you pay a nominal fee for the visit which is well patronized. Optionally one can rent Italian clothes to take pictures. The objects of the House are not as well preserved as the castelinho, but the value of the visit is much smaller too. RECOMMEND.
