Black Lake, Gramado

(22,000+ reviews on the web)
Water Body
A small town’s big surprise, Black Lake was created in 1953 in an area once covered by a lush forest, which was destroyed by a devastating fire in the 1940s. Shaped like the letter U, the lake was surrounded by pine saplings, imported all the way from Germany’s famous Black Forest (hence, the lake’s name). Today, this large artificial pond sits in the middle of a dense pine forest, with its shores naturally bordered by blue hydrangeas. Take a leisurely walk around the lake to enjoy the scenery and photograph the famous pines, or spend a few hours jogging or cycling on the surrounding paths. Drop by the lake’s boathouse to rent a boat, and take a little time to paddle on the calm water. • We went to the Lake of Gardener. The place is very well maintained and very beautiful. It's worth sitting on the lawn and forget the time pass.

  • I don't understand how the first place here on Tripadvisor, I found a common Park and even small. Has pedal boats with prices (depends on size) of 53 ha.and 25 ha beside and 30.00 per. I got some ice cream in the Park, which caught my attention since it was Snail brand, who doesn't know is one of the chocolate brands of Lawn, only tasted very bland, worst expressed already consume. The only thing interesting was to see friends and couples drinking wine beneath the trees and enjoying the environment.
