Aldeia do Papai Noel, Gramado

2.9
#4 of 14 in Theme Parks in State of Rio Grande do Sul
Santa’s Brazilian home is Aldeia do Papai Noel, a place where Christmas exists for 365 days a year. Bring the whole family to this magical place where time stands still, and discover Santa’s house nestled in the forest. The park shelters several large reindeer, which were imported from Europe. Take a ride on the park’s monorail to see the reindeer wander freely through the lush forest. Be sure to stop by the toy factory to see just how Santa’s helpers create toys for children around the world. Keep in mind that the park’s pathways are covered with coarse gravel, so if you’re arriving with a stroller in tow, consider leaving it at the front gate. • My 5 year old son liked the place. The apex was the encounter with Santa Claus, was overjoyed and wrote the letter to Santa.

  • Had read so many negative reviews which I was afraid to visit the site. However, to get to the village of Santa Claus was surprised with the attendance of officials and State of conservation of the site: all very well care and beautiful. We went with my 3 year old daughter who didn't bat an eye with many attractions. I thought it was pretty cool to the proposal.

  • Not worth Attraction is without investments for a long time because of a legal battle between the city and 3 entrepreneurs who held the lease of the Park. The grant is over now and the city wants to make the park free and open. With that doesn't have more attractions of Santa Claus. It will be a normal Park to walk and enjoy. Today in addition to the park entrance is charged by both attractions (monoraill and tremzinho separately) has a gazebo with a scope to see a piece of the city.

  • Cute for little kids, a bit dated and tired though. Classic Santa spot. Be sure to bring cash since admission gets access, but rides within the park require a small payment too.
  • Has very beautiful view, and great nature, can be a good place for family
  • Nice place for kids... Incredible atmosphere!
  • Very weird pieces and everything has an additional cost. Not stroller friendly.
  • Incredibly overrated. It would be an amazing haunted park, because everything there is creepy and scary. The reindeers are far away and sleepy. The place is full of screaming kids and mums that can't control their kids. Absolutely not worth it. I went with a person that loves xmas and she also hated it. There's already enough xmas stuff all around. Also, it costs $28, they don't accept credit cards and they don't accept student cards.. they brag about it in a notice. They found a way around it. Unethical and stupid business practice.
