Cachoeira das Sete Quedas, Goncalves

#1 of 12 in Things to do in Goncalves
Watching the water cascading over the small, successive steps of rock, you will be mesmerized by the breathtaking natural beauty of Cachoeira das Sete Quedas. A steep but short trail through the local flora and fauna of Gonçalves leads you to the waterfall, and it is worth paying extra for a guide as the path is unmarked in places. Once at the fall, they will also be able to tell you where is safe to swim so you can enjoy a refreshing dip in the cool water. For travelers who use our international travel planner, Goncalves holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Cachoeira das Sete Quedas and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

Beautiful waterfall. Easy access. But by dirt road. It is worth visiting, very cold water detail, but worth it.

A good option to get out of the cabin. You arrive by car until a base (diner) then upon payment of 5.00 have access the waterfalls. Who has problem with hiking with ascent, better visit only the cacheira of the retreat. The cruise requires more breath (nothing too hard). Has some vegan picoles delicious! The banana show!

Located in a property with deck with a gazebo for Sete Quedas Waterfall where there's a snack bar and bathrooms. Parking is free, but a fee is charged per person of real 5. But it's worth it, because there are three beautiful waterfalls: Sete Quedas, retreat and cruise. The seven Falls is close and with many falls, beautiful but dangerous for bathing, being recommended for the bath of the retreat or cruise or to the well of this waterfall formed right lower before getting the property in front of an Inn.

Are three beautiful waterfalls, chutes 7, retreat and cruise ... You pay real 3 per person visitors to them. On the trail to the cruise (last waterfall) we find cows along the way.

Where to stay in Goncalves

Characterful, rustic lodges and pousadas (guesthouses) represent the most popular accommodation styles in Goncalves, with little price differentiation between them. A couple lodgings located on the outskirts of town offer larger grounds, while some include additional services, such as breakfast and tour booking. Due to the relatively small number of options available, you'll need to reserve your accommodations in Goncalves in advance. Campsites offer a good choice for getting directly out into the surrounding landscape.
