With the external Bell Tower, in front of the Red River and internal colonial style, has a beautiful environment, a beautiful fresco on the ceiling of wood and a climate conducive to prayer.

The São Francisco de Paula Church is one of my favorite Church in the city of Goiás, very beautiful church, architecture, very well maintained. In this church there is an excellent Museum of sacred art.

Where to stay in Goias

While obviously lacking the colonial-era elegance of the town's main architectural highlights, accommodations in Goias are an attractive bunch. Colorful, squat hotels and guesthouses, family-run and neatly maintained, remain the most popular option. Dotted around town here and there, they offer a good level of service and a comfortable room for a decent price. Prices rise with proximity to the World Heritage-listed town center, where the location offers characterful views from your room. If on a budget, stay farther from the center: it's all pretty close together anyway, and the charming rusticity extends well past the historical core.
