Where to stay in Goias

While obviously lacking the colonial-era elegance of the town's main architectural highlights, accommodations in Goias are an attractive bunch. Colorful, squat hotels and guesthouses, family-run and neatly maintained, remain the most popular option. Dotted around town here and there, they offer a good level of service and a comfortable room for a decent price. Prices rise with proximity to the World Heritage-listed town center, where the location offers characterful views from your room. If on a budget, stay farther from the center: it's all pretty close together anyway, and the charming rusticity extends well past the historical core.

  • The waterfall of Andorinhas has major strengths: not far from the city of Goiás, has own parking 500 metres from the waterfall trail riding on a very light, has the unique feature of the cave where Falls waterfall, is safe and suitable for bathing. Has several stones to relax and watch the trees. The entrance is 10 reais per person.

  • Is a small waterfall, but to cool off. The access is very quiet through a forest. The day we went we were alone, but I believe that if you have a lot of people don't get better because the place does not include many people the same time. For those who like a shower of Cachu Valley meet and take 1 hour of your ride in Goiás to go to the location. We pay 10.00 R$ on input.
