Vaca Brava Park, Goiania

(4.2/5 based on 1,700+ reviews on the web)
Strolling around Vaca Brava Park you will be struck by the contrasting colors of your surroundings. A small green forest filled with an abundance of native flora and home to many small animals, surrounds a large dark blue lake with a fountain at its center. The peaceful atmosphere is a welcome relief from the city, which you can see looming on the park’s periphery. With plans set out in the 1950s, this 79,800 sq m (20 acres) park was to replace a disease-ridden swamp on the site, and it was finally completed in 1996. The locals use the running track and exercise stations, but this place is also perfect for some serious R & R. A couple of hours and a few coconut waters later you will feel completely re-energized. • Very nice Park for picnics, day is night, the grass is well cared for and the place is usually guarded by security, what makes it better for someone who frequents.

  • I spent one season in Goiânia and loved to go to the Park to spend the time listening to music, lying in one of the banks. Pretty nice atmosphere and sense of security, because it was very busy. How is facing the Goiânia Shopping, when I was starting to get dark would stop by for a snack before going to the hotel.
