(3.3/5 based on 550+ reviews on the web)
You will find Monument to the 3 Races standing an impressive 7 m (23 ft) tall in Praça Cívica, Goiânia’s political center. The monument depicts the historical raising of the cornerstone of the city, and the three bronze figures you will see pay tribute to the black, white, and indigenous people who unified to not only build the city but also form the genetic and cultural characteristics of the people of Goiás. Created by local artist Neusa Moraes in 1968, today it has become an important symbol of Goiânia and well worth a visit. • The monument is impressive. Stay right in the center of town and is easily accessible. However, I don't recommend going on the weekends since it will be empty.
