Garopaba Beach, Garopaba

4.2
#2 of 20 in Things to do in Garopaba
Beach Nature / Park
Once a fishing village that supported an idyllic life for fishermen, Garopaba Beach 's beauty caused a town to grow around the humble village. On your visit, you'll see a bustling, little metropolis with houses dotting the hills rising from the sea. There you can rent a room at a pousada (a private bed and breakfast), or at the city's one hotel. Spend your days on Garopaba Beach relaxing with a book in hand, sunbathing, swimming or come by night and join a party on the beach. During the season, the town's population swells in size and the beach is jam-packed with umbrellas and vendors selling food. • I really enjoyed the excitement of the sea, the paria. A lot of youth of Brazil and Argentina. Trendy location and well-preserved nature.

  • You can swim quietly, doesn't have many waves. Clean sea. Even in January with many Argentines on the beach, it's a quiet place, familiar.

  • Agitated, full of beautiful people; varied trade, with prices to suit all budgets and tastes. I liked everything! Recommend a visit.
