  • I've been in Garibaldi on a Sunday, to meet the road of flavour. How is a region of Italian colonization thought in good food and warm welcome. Mistake. Along this road there is no restaurant open to the public and where we get to information people even leave their homes to talk.

  • The road of flavor is a destination that I recommend to get away from the obvious and of traditional and inflated destinations such as the vale dos vinhedos. Here you will find several rural estates where you can spend the day making meals and buy products and/or organic. We decided to have lunch at Osteria della Colombina. Lunch costs $60.00 (drinks) and must be booked in advance. You can get a little before and enjoy the beauties of the place, look at the garden, animals, enjoy the nature. Valley alert payment is cash only. After lunch at Osteria, followed her family Vaccaro. They have a winery and other colonial products and also serve lunch. The wines and sparkling wines have values quite affordable and are wonderful, be sure to taste the Merlot (a bottle of wine costs 53 ha.and 25 ha beside and the sparkling $30). In the same way as the Osteria, lunch should be marked in advance, because the preparation has already begun the day before (the value is R$55 if not mistaken). But what most caught my attention in the family Vaccaro is making picnic in the vast property. Mrs. Vaccaro prepares a basket with colonial products (breads, jams, cheeses, salami, etc) that serves up to 3 people and it R$55 and you take your towel from home and can choose anywhere in the nice place to enjoy the picnic. The picnic must also be marked in advance and you can take your pet, just can not enter with him into the House. Different from Osteria, Vaccaro credit cards accepted. Leaving the family Vaccaro, went to the family property Brugali. There they produce various types of high quality colonial inlaid and very affordable value. Worth buy salami, cheese, sausage, sausage with cheese, Cup, ribs in addition to jams and honey (among other products, all made from scratch). On this day we can't know any more, but we will met also the place San Francisco, which serves colonial coffee with organic products and crafts at the cost of R$35. Choose a beautiful day, go early to enjoy all the beauties of the region and do not forget to check with families visiting (if only to buy the products you do not need to schedule, only for meals) and also take money because many properties do not work with credit/debit cards. Go with time to meet and talk to all the wonderful people who live and work there to serve us so well.

  • In the words of Ana Ratier, tourist of SP, which made a bike ride for this script, knowing the history of the region: Bah, I love South tchê! I, smiling girl born in Me again with a skinny and go explore the interior of Garibaldi Ill I could imagine that at 34 kilometers from pedal to my soul is going to celebrate for the first time, I lived emotions difficult to name, ate bergamot, sapecado and pinion araçá Vines will head Valdugas and multicolored Marianis come and behold today was day of celebration for the heart also Was on the trails of this romance that I was charmed city with warm octogenárias nearly nonnas 3 Xavier, Odette and Teresina opened their arms and houses for this unknown girl and how not to be moved by their calloused hands and pure souls? Are nothing less than the mirror of our culture. Capitals, dahlias, pampa and love Bring my bachelor party a ounce of pain But pera! Tomorrow the bike and I have new itinerary I can't wait to feel the aromas, flavors and embrace my people!
