  • The Ruber Park Van Der Linder is an area that needs to be visited on your stay in the city of Garanhuns. The Park is well located, near the hotel of SESC, which means more attractive for hosts in that space. There are a wide variety of native trees, all identified. With luck, you can still observe some native animals of the forest, such as marmosets and many varieties of birds. It's a pleasant enough location, secure and very frequented. Van Der Linder was a botanist, in love with nature.

  • It is a small park, but with good variety of plants. Have dog tags and a lake with ducks and geese. Lack a diner. Maintenance leaves something to be desired.

  • Another location in this wonderful city that tourists can only visit, and take several pictures of the place and the wild animals that live there.

  • It's one of the best parks in the city, especially for a walk, with good tracks and signals throughout the way. However, it is not that clean nor a really beautiful place. There's almost no other plant than eucalyptus, since this tree release substances that usually supress any other kind of plant. Then there's no grass to rest and play on, and soil is exposed and hard, except in the fields for games such as volleyball and soccer, where the ground is sand. During the Winter Festival, special events are held in here, such as concerts, art demonstrations and circus.

  • Perfect environment for those who want tranquility. A piece of nature in the heart of the city. Great for Picnik, reading and drinking beer. As well as just watching the sober environment or not. Have some toys like swing and House for children. There is also some animals such as sloths, monkeys and some birds.
