Categories: Landmarks, Tourist Spots
Inspirock Rating:
2.4/5 based on 3,600+ reviews on the web
The green and yellow obelisk of Marco das Tres Fronteiras on the lookout platform signifies the place where you can see three markers designating the exact point where Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay meet. The trail to this equilateral triangle is about 2,000 m (6,650 ft) long, surrounded by pine and guava, as well as locals who may try to stop you to sell you something or beg for money. You'll find a cafeteria, craft shop, and a gazebo where you can observe the three countries, and the confluence where the Iguazú flows into the Paraná River. Our Foz do Iguacu vacation trip planner makes visiting Marco das Tres Fronteiras and other Foz do Iguacu attractions simple, and helps you make a travel plan personal to you.

  • It is a nice place to understand where we share three borders and nothing more, the post to bring memories are the most cheap.

  • Not to mention bad .... There's nothing to be seen total waste, no good a small obelisk and nothing more.

  • They used to not pay anything to use the framework of 3 borders. Today costs 14 reais per person, but it's under construction and there's nothing to do, has 2 shops open and the mark itself. Too expensive to just look at the landscape. Very, very bad. Maybe after retirement will look better, they're building a space, but nothing ready and all dirty for a while. I felt robbed.

  • Great to see how 3 countries unite in one point, but the park around it could be a bit better-kept.
  • I like Brazilian, for me it's an interesing finding of our continent. A different but very cool feeling to be ring at the poit where he shares three sothhern American Contries. As for mosquitoes: I like in Brazil in Sao Paulo, changing stations in prevented with repellents already part of nescessair puse or back pack, for me no problem. O:-)
  • Currently under reform but still open for public visiting. After the reform there will be a restaurant, bar and some shops. Also will be possible to go at night again.
  • Nice to see where the countries meet. Nothing too amazing, but good to go to nonetheless
  • Not much to see, by they are currently building the area up so the price tag will probably go up...
