  • Upon arriving at the Eco-Museum, I wasn't very excited after reading some reports here of TripAdvisor, however, was completely the opposite of what I thought. To get to the Museum, was met by a very polite, explaining where the ride began, and later explaining a few facts of some front rooms. Was very attentive to me and my daughters, who have shown great interest in the story told by this gentleman. If this in the mouth and made the ride from Itaipu, go to the Eco-Museum and be amazed by all the items that you are.

  • First eco-Museum of Latin America, takes seriously the museological principles and representation and community involvement.

  • Just went to this place because I bought the Passport 3 Wonders, which, among other things, includes the entry in the Iguaçu Falls, the panoramic visit to Itaipu, the entry in the frame of the 3 borders and entering the Itaipu Eco-Museum. After reading some reviews here, my expectations were already extremely low, but since it's in the package, come on. It was better to have gone to the hotel to get some rest. A waste of time. The visitation is held completely alone, and there is no sign informing anything. I was almost half an hour to find out where the entrance. The place is small and, after discovering where in, half an hour is more than enough to see everything. Only positive point I would stress are some interesting models. The customer service is awful! Seriously, worst service that I witnessed in all. Starting with the entry confusing until you get kicked out 5 minutes before Museum closing I only went because I bought the Passport 3 Wonders, it was right at the entrance. I don't know exactly how much is the ticket, but anything above R $0.00 is already too expensive. In fact, for free I don't think it's worth it. Bad place. Never go back and wouldn't recommend anyone wasting your time there.

  • Good place for school group
  • Different rooms with interesting exhibits. Amazing history about the dam build.
  • This is basically a museum of the area, with exhibits on its recent history, its early human history, the history of the nearby hydroelectric project, the wildlife, etc. etc. Definitely worth checking out if you have the time.
  • This is an intresting place with a collection of different tools, elements and reconstitutions. I particularly liked the reconstitution of the turbine room of Itaipu dam.
