Where to stay in Fortaleza

If you want to focus on the historical attractions in Fortaleza, stay in the city center or a nearby neighborhood for easy access. Far more popular, however, is the coastal neighborhood of Praia de Iracema, where you can immerse yourself in the city's beach, restaurant, and nightlife scene. Any number of hotels line the neighborhood's expansive beachfront. For something a bit quieter, but still a stone's throw from the beach, look east to the coastal neighborhoods of De Lourdes and Praia do Futuro II. Thanks to the growing popularity of Fortaleza tourism, you can find a range of budget hostels throughout the city.

  • A mess. 1) air conditioning broken, we had lunch sweating. 2) Waiter didn't know the menu, told me that the Octopus was grilled, baked, a penalty came. 3) asked a Baden Baden came hot. 4) requested a prime rib medium rare, came past, tough and tasteless. Anyway, there's no excuse, I won't. Lack of professionalism. There are other much better restaurants in the same neighborhood, I won't cite for not seem fit.

  • The patio is a very small Mall, with few shops and a small food court. But the film is great! The highlight of the trade towers Courtyard, where medical clinics and offices.

  • I don't understand the existence of this mall. Parking is an armed robbery. Stores that have there you find in many other places. The cinema is reasonable. The best thing there is the bakery.

  • Not my favorite shopping -- has limited range of stores. Leave time to get to the professional offices on the upper floors because the computerized elevator sometimes takes a while to arrive. It's difficult to find a space in the underground parking at times. Exiting from the parking onto crowded Rua Monsenhor Catão and then turning onto Av. Dom Luis takes courage (at least for a non-Brazilian).
  • Not crowded, easy to reach from multiple directions, underground parking that's free if you stay for lunch.
  • small but cheap cinema on wednesdays
  • Nice
  • :) good!
