We were on the beach after reading some comments ... Thanks very much worth knowing this wonderful beach. We left the 09:30 Fortress getting the 10:45. We parked in one of the huts of straw coverage, we went straight without talking to the valets who are calling on the street. We were well attended and the prices were normal meals and drinks. On the beach: many good Waters with excellent temperature and when the low tide at around 11:00 to the 14:00 are excellent bathing pools including children, however the tide there is like a normal Beach! Worth knowing if you enjoy more peace of mind.

The beach is beautiful. Wonderful views, super hot water. I was there with his family. Once the tide was low and there were swimming pools where children could play quietly, but the tide rises very fast, then around 12:00 the local fireman began to call who was further away, while not as deep to get closer from the sand. After the tide came in the beach got stronger waves, but gave the kids play. Don't let the children alone, as the tide rises too fast. But the place is beautiful. Worth the visit. I'd go back there for sure.

Hotel with good facilities, very nice and very well located, ideal for those who enjoy a good rest enjoying a delicious Beach right in front. Walks on the sand are super quiet. In the direction to the right side has bars and a river with beach bars, very cool.

Spectacular! The only thing that bothers you is the personal approach of the tents when we arrive. At the most, is a wonderful place, with tranquil sea and the River on the beach.

A beautiful beach! Calm, quiet, with shallow water sites prone to bath. The food is cheap and tasty. For the adventurous, there are buggies ride in the dunes. The only downside I found was the lack of education of visitors. There was a considerable amount of waste (plastics, coconuts, among others) on the beach. There were no signs indicating, or garbage collectors.

Great place to eat a serving of shrimp in garlic and oil and enjoy the wonder of the sea and the natural pools that form at low tide.

Where to stay in Fortaleza

If you want to focus on the historical attractions in Fortaleza, stay in the city center or a nearby neighborhood for easy access. Far more popular, however, is the coastal neighborhood of Praia de Iracema, where you can immerse yourself in the city's beach, restaurant, and nightlife scene. Any number of hotels line the neighborhood's expansive beachfront. For something a bit quieter, but still a stone's throw from the beach, look east to the coastal neighborhoods of De Lourdes and Praia do Futuro II. Thanks to the growing popularity of Fortaleza tourism, you can find a range of budget hostels throughout the city.
