One of the oldest buildings in Fortaleza, Mucuripe Lighthouse now houses the Museum of Fortaleza, a collection of representations of Fortaleza. Inside the handsome, octagonal tower you will find drawings, photographs, documents, illustrations, excerpts from novels, and stories of visitors. Unfortunately, the historic building has suffered a little from vandalism and neglect in recent years.   • The Lighthouse is an option in the city to make a photographic record, nothing more than that! Stay close to the beach and ends up being way to many other attractions of the city.

  • Unfortunate that is abandoned. In case of restoration would be a great spot to visit. Surely upstairs would be taken beautiful photos!
