Mucuripe Beach, Fortaleza

(3.3/5 based on 600+ reviews on the web)
Mucuripe Beach is known for its fish market. Order some fresh fried fish or prawns, and enjoy the oily treat while you take in a view that has inspired many local poets. Fishing boats bobble on top of the electric blue water. All of the boats seem to be painted bright colors that try to rival the sea's azure, but they are a quinessential complement to the natural landscape. The town is as lively as the boats, and the artist in you will come to life as you gaze at the sunset across the small harbor. • Visit the fish market on Mucuripe beach is an adventure. You're a first-timer will find strange. You see people eating at tables with umbrella, then you sit and wait for them to come to serve you. Will rot there! We have to buy in the tents you want to eat and a place to prepare the meal. Then you have almost an anaphylactic shock when the seller says that the lobster is going for $80.00. Everyone knows that in any stall on the beach you paid 53 ha.and 25 ha beside a lobster! Worth the trip just for curiosity.

  • Run this beach if possible, very ugly place with many homeless and children requesting food in kiosks. Bad smell nearby due to large homeless housing and sewage on the beach.

  • A quiet beach, next to a market that has fish and seafood and bars, where you can buy and prepare in kiosks in the same location, with popular price. A great place for families attending.
