Mercado dos Pinhoes is a handcraft and art center of old steel construction made in France in 1896. It has been moved around Fortaleza and finally parked in its current location. At night, its stained glass windows come to life. The site sells a bit of everything so it’s a great place to make purchases at great prices.   • I was surprised with the energy that runs through the pine nuts during Carnival, when I attended The Lavenders put everyone, I mean everyone, to sing the band's repertoire, with regional characteristic rhythm songs the group. Worth checking out for the pré-carnaval too.
