  • The island is a beautiful place, with a lot of history. We went kayaking, on a great day of Sun, and we enjoyed every moment of the path and the sidewalk in the fortress. For transport out of the Centre of Florianopolis, but for those who enjoy kayak, is a must-see. We left the tip of the Sambaqui (but Daniela should also be an interesting starting point), and made an unforgettable route. Indico!

  • The fortress of Santo Antônio de Ratones had its construction began in 1740 and was completed four years later. This is the third defensive system designed to defend the entrance North of the island of Santa Catarina. The island of Raton great was so named by the Spanish Explorer Cabeza de Vaca by the island resemble the shape of a rat. Was abandoned for a long time served as a leprosarium and arrest and despite having been listed in 1938, just had your restore process started in 1990. The stone paths lead you to time travel, passing by the Water Source and the aqueduct, by a series of buildings and the Door-even with the marks of where functioned a drawbridge like you see in movies about the middle ages. Has an ecological path where flora and fauna are performances aside, however, if you're with one of the schooners leaving the point near the Hércílio Bridge light or seaside Pier or Pier from Canasvieiras beach., the length of stay on the island is too short to enjoy it to the fullest. The alternative are the boatmen who make the crossing of approximately 3 Km from the edge of the Midden, located at 15 Km from the Centre of Florianópolis. Place to come home with hundreds of pictures. There is no trade in place. Take water!

  • The fortress of Santo Antônio de Ratones lies on the island of Los Ratones Great, construction began in 1740 and was one of the vertices of the triangular defense system to defend the entrance to the Bay North of the island of Santa Catarina. The location is very nice, clean and has a beautiful landscape of the Bay North of Florianópolis. There's no structure of food and drink. Take mineral water for the visit.
