  • When faced with this little edification, generally closed, feel the incongruity of your presence among the huge modern buildings. And we were moved by the simplicity of life of former "manezinhos island", the time when Santa Catarina was far from a more developed State.

  • Church of Na Sra do ROSARIO-r. Marechal Guilherme 60 built between 1787 and 1830 in honour to Na Sra do Rosario and São Benedito is the second more ancient of the city. It is located behind the Metropolitan Cathedral and was built by descendants of African slaves, black, released and white of humble condition. Those few of resources that this people had made that the termination delay more than 40 years. The facade is Baroque and in the inside is highlight them images of them Holy patrons.
