The building itself is of Azorean architecture, very beautiful. The market has shops selling typical food, local delicacies such as fish, oysters and fresh seafood. Next door, across the street, there is also a center of handicraft and the camel fair, which has dozens of stalls selling imported electronics to makeup, clothes, watches and sunglasses, with popular prices, but in a very well organized, clean, safe and very friendly service. In the evenings and on the weekends the central space and outdoor (but with a covered awning that protects you from the rain) there is live music and dozens of bars served a nice cold beer, with handcrafted local beers and delicious appetizers. Great to share with friends or even family or romantic couple for a more relaxed evening. The bars offer heaters and even blankets on cold days.show original
FLORIPA GUEST HOUSE
A must GO even though I´ve seen much better markets. Good lunch option for a rainy day.
Very nice place to visit and for a fun happy hour. Try some plate with "berbigão" - even Brazilians from other states don't know what it is. :)
