  • Nice place with a beautiful 19TH century architecture. In the Food Court of the market, there's great gastronomic variety that is shared with the region's culture.

  • After the Reformation the market looks great! Clean, with good options to buy fish and fruits to donate fresh. In addition, the external area has several options of bars, is super nice a beer with snacks in the evening.

  • Newly renovated, the market is an asset of Florianópolis. The building itself is of Azorean architecture, very beautiful. The market has shops selling typical food, local delicacies such as fish, oysters and fresh seafood. Next door, across the street, there is also a center of handicraft and the camel fair, which has dozens of stalls selling imported electronics to makeup, clothes, watches and sunglasses, with popular prices, but in a very well organized, clean, safe and very friendly service. In the evenings and on the weekends the central space and outdoor (but with a covered awning that protects you from the rain) there is live music and dozens of bars served a nice cold beer, with handcrafted local beers and delicious appetizers. Great to share with friends or even family or romantic couple for a more relaxed evening. The bars offer heaters and even blankets on cold days.

  • A must GO even though I´ve seen much better markets. Good lunch option for a rainy day.
  • Very nice place to visit and for a fun happy hour. Try some plate with "berbigão" - even Brazilians from other states don't know what it is. :)
  • This place has gotten better in time. Your can find local traditional food and drinks like caipirinha. Good place to chill.
  • Great local fleamarket, nice prices, a lot of variety.
  • Ótimo lugar para levar os amigos para almoçar. Várias opções e clima muito agradável. Recomendo.
