Costa da Lagoa, Florianopolis

(4.8/5 based on 2,200+ reviews on the web)
The small village of Costa da Lagoa, on Lagoa da Conceição, can only be reached by boat or by winding forest trails. The village's remoteness and simplicity give it the feeling of a lost civilisation. Private speed boats can be rented, but the simplest (and cheapest) mode of transport is to use the same taxi-boat as the villagers do. Along the way you can stop off at one of the many waterfront restaurants with their own jetties. At the village itself, you can explore the forest trails, visit the tiny church, cool off at the waterfall, or simply talk to the friendly locals. Just make sure you don't miss the last boat back to the mainland. • We took the boat at the foot of the bridge (AV. das Rendeiras) and 30 minute were in point 16, landed and then to a restaurant tables well organized, very nice, one of the staff guided me how to get to the waterfall. Waterfall was with little water (March), I don't know if it's always like this the waterfall but not impressed me at all. For who wants to visit the village and lunch in the restaurant is a good, now if only to visit the waterfall or the gazebo think twice because it will spend twenty reais and 3 lap idą or 4 of your time, but it's still a different ride.

  • The best thing to do is to make the trail on foot and return by boat. Along the way, there are mansions and plantations dating back to 1700 and are well-kept. The track is in the middle of the Woods, then has it all, wild animals, that yummy smell of mato, monkeys in the trees and the pond at your side the entire time. More inside there's a micro district with several restaurants, be sure to eat a fish filet with sauce of shrimp. Any time you get tired has several point of boats, we just get on and go back, is probably R$ 10.00 per person. I did this all to the district and returned, were Los ratones over 6 hours of walking, but thanks, has fantastic visuals. Don't be fooled by the cachoeira da costa is a leak that oozes through the stone and falls in a well, if it is to see this attraction, or leave home. The cool thing is the rolê and contact with the brush and Earth.
