Praia do Sueste, Fernando de Noronha

Enjoy the calm sea and gentle waves at Praia do Sueste, the southeast bay on Fernando do Noronha Island. Rich marine life provides plenty of snorkeling opportunities and three nearby islands await exploration. As one of the main feeding grounds for sea turtles, the area enjoys protection; expect a good deal of seaweed, and designated diving sites. The bay's mangrove forest represents a true rarity, seen nowhere else on an island. Explore the nearby fort, guarding the entrance to the bay where a Dutch squadron landed in 1629. • We went to the beach from the East after making snorkel in Sancho, Bay of pigs, and then Port the Southeast looked so funny. What surprised us positively was that I, my husband and my 12 year old son were doing snorkel there, going back to the edge, and suddenly, only 50 cm of our eyes went a shark sandpaper approximately 1 meter and a half below us ... following two big fish too but almost beating us and literally "care" for us. That was the big surprise of the place. After we left the East and headed toward the beach of Lion, but rather through the viewpoint of the tide and by strong southeast San Joaquin. The landscapes were breathtaking! Beautiful! Worth the walk! We passed also to see the tip of Belvedere Caracas, the West of the island. Beautiful! Spoiler: on the Viewpoint of Graphical Tide has a small little cave on the right who will down, where we took pictures from inside the cave out, picking up the landscape. They were wonderful!

  • This is the best beach to go with children, elderly people, etc. Has a very nice and is easy to access. Rent equipment and make snorkeling there, because marine life there is very rich. There's also the Tamar project on selected days, they take a turtle at sea and take to the sand to raise awareness.

Where to stay in Fernando de Noronha

The bad news is that, if you're on a budget, your trip to Fernando de Noronha might be starting to look a whole lot more expensive than you'd planned. Accommodations on the remote archipelago are understandably expensive, as all food and supplies have to be specially shipped in. All lodgings are on the largest island, Fernando de Noronha, which is the only one permanently inhabited in the archipelago. The majority of options consist of guesthouses and boutique hotels concentrated in the center of Vila dos Remédios, the island's town. However, look a bit farther outside of town and you can find some excellent eco-resorts and beachside accommodations.
