Boldro Beacch, Fernando de Noronha

4.7
#10 of 19 in Beaches in Fernando de Noronha
Beach Nature / Park
The crystalline tidal pools at Boldro Beacch are perfect for bathing, and if you have a snorkel, you will see a wonderful array of marine life beneath the surface. At high tide they become submerged, and swimming is advised against. However, you can watch experienced surfers ride the 5 m (16 ft) waves the tide brings, from the safety of the fine, golden beach. You will find just one restaurant on the sand, serving fresh seafood, but for something a little more special head up the cliff to São Pedro do Boldró Fort, built during the 16th century. Here you can enjoy a delicious meal while you watch a most spectacular sunset. A visit to Boldro Beacch represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Fernando de Noronha vacation planner to plot your vacation.

  • A beautiful beach but without breaking any 1 simple bar structure and nothing more ways to get suck. To understand the preservation policy at Noronha however could have a better tourist infrastructure

Where to stay in Fernando de Noronha

The bad news is that, if you're on a budget, your trip to Fernando de Noronha might be starting to look a whole lot more expensive than you'd planned. Accommodations on the remote archipelago are understandably expensive, as all food and supplies have to be specially shipped in. All lodgings are on the largest island, Fernando de Noronha, which is the only one permanently inhabited in the archipelago. The majority of options consist of guesthouses and boutique hotels concentrated in the center of Vila dos Remédios, the island's town. However, look a bit farther outside of town and you can find some excellent eco-resorts and beachside accommodations.
