Baia dos Golfinhos, Fernando de Noronha
(4.5/5 based on 850+ reviews on the web)
Baia dos Golfinhos is sublimely beautiful with its striking landscape, lush vegetation, and bright blue water, but that is not its main appeal. For centuries, schools of spinner dolphins have been coming to the stunning bay and, from atop the 50 m (164 ft) cliff, you are almost guaranteed a sighting of some resting in the cove after a night of hunting. Research biologists from the “Projeto Golfinho Rotador” organization monitor the animals daily and readily answer questions. They will even lend you binoculars for a better look. Using our online itinerary creator, Fernando de Noronha attractions like Baia dos Golfinhos can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.

  • Very beautiful place, just keep an eye on the schedule. Dolphins usually arrive early, around 7 a.m., it's good to be informed. Worth the visit.

  • This was where I had one of the biggest thrills of my life, when I saw dolphins swimming alongside the boat. Hundreds of dolphins came with the boat for several kilometers. perfect.

  • Wake up in the morning and the 6:30 were already in place to see dolphins! They arrived around 8 hours. There were more than 180! We could watch them with binoculars from the NGO and meet your habits! Congratulations to Spinner Dolphin project for preservation work.
