Parque Estadual da Pedra Azul, Domingos Martins

State Park Nature / Park
The smooth face of Pedra Azul resides over the natural reserve Parque Estadual da Pedra Azul. Millennia of rainfall and water erosion have made the rock face a flat surface that rises elegantly from the mountain. Scheudule a guided tour around the rock one day in advance, but some you can take on your own. Check out the hike to the Lizard head; this is a rock formation resembling (you guessed it), a lizard head. Another hike leading up a steep slope, where a rope is installed to help with the climb, will lead you to calm soaking pools with a valley view. • Despite not having done the trail itself, as we were with our 5 year old son (who got tired in the first ramp meters light), we come to the Park area of the tracks for the lookouts and the natural pools. The place is clean and preserved. The monitors/guards are good guidelines on the site. The visual there close to the Stone is worth the ride. I intend to go back to do the entire trail. Worth the tip which is only released to children over 7 years.

  • The Park is phenomenal. Nominate a lot the trail up the natural pools, R $15.00, ascent without too much difficulty. In fact, there is such a part of the stone, which can generate a bit of fear in some people, but the guide is very experienced and give you tips that allow you make the quiet mode. The guide makes several stops, explains a lot of things and is very cordial. Up and down the rock making pictures and footage. The visual of the pools makes up for any effort. Is very good. In addition, for those with babies or unable to climb the rock, indico do basic track, which does not require even a guide and you don't even have to pay. It's a fabulous place, makes up for a lot. There's no secret, the car is parked right on arrival, you go up a little piece of dirt road walking, until you reach the base. From there begins the stretch in the middle of the Woods. Who goes to Blue Stone cannot look upon the site. Nominate a lot. Tip: very close to the base, at the end of this dirt road, has a forest on the right with IPÊ and cherry trees, just pass a Concierge, is a woods with Japanese name, the place is very nice and provides excellent pictures.

  • Worth the visit. The look is spectacular and the trail is very tiring for those who are not prepared. Small natural pools are a spectacle.

  • Nice place. Amazing panorama.
  • Dramatic landscape, somewhat circuitous route of course in order to reach it, but well worth the effort. Allow lots of time to explore.
