  • The House that Juscelino Kubitschek lived his childhood and part of adolescence was recovered and prepared with great care and affection to preserve the image and history of this great statesman. We were grateful to get to meet Mr Seraphim Melo garden, personal friend and loyal collaborator of President Juscelino Kubitschek, who showed us a special collection of pictures and information we rejoiced and magnified your dedicated work that even today keeps lit the flame the honor and history of our late President

  • I thought man entry ($ 10.00 per person), for the House offer only panels, without the time, such as furniture, the receptionist informed us. We answered wrong, while she continued to write what you wondered was when we got to visit. Or we enter.

Where to stay in Diamantina

Diamantina offers a range of rustic, charatcer-filled accommodations, in keeping with the town's history and chief attractions. Find atmospheric pousadas (guesthouses) dotted around the cobbled streets of the old town, occupying formerly residential streets, with luxury and mid-range options also available. A few more modern standalone hotels have been built in recent years, located away from the historic center and catering to budget-conscious travelers. If you're looking for quick access to the surrounding nature, consider staying at one of the motels and pousadas along Av. Jao Antunes de Oliveira, located in the northwest of town.
