(4.3/5 based on 340+ reviews on the web)
The childhood home of one of Brazil's most important 20th-century presidents, he was responsible for the construction of Brasilia, is now a small museum. Casa de Juscelino displays documents and president's personal items, and there is even a replica of his office with authentic office equipment from the time. There is a display with musical instruments, including a piece with the president’s name carved on it. The museum is on a hill and has a coffee shop. • The House holds memories of President Juscelino Kubitschek. Your room, minutes, etc. The bottom has the Bar which shows the Bohemia of Nono and time.

  • House of difficult access without a car. A fairly steep climb. I thought the House had more to offer, but it's worth the visit. Interesting information about the ex-President JK.

  • It pays to know the House where he grew up one of the icons of brazilian policy. I am very happy to say that the place is very well maintained and the collection very well taken care of. Buy the book that brings a new theory about the circumstances surrounding the death of Juscelino and stop to talk with its author, Mr. Serafim who has an Office in the annex built next to the House. A man who is a species of live file history politics of country and lived the last 9 years before the death of Juscelino. Worth knowing.

  • Vale a pena, o ingresso foi 5 reais, a casa mostra como era a vida de Juscelino enquanto ele morava em Diamantina, conta história de seus pais. Recomendo!
  • Abraços ao grande Serafim Jardim. Obrigado pela atenção carinhosa e alegre. Revendo fotos e postando no face , a saudade veio junto. Logo estaremos por aí. Parabéns pelos trabalhos que são fieis ao seu grande companheiro e nosso ídolo J.K.
  • Um lugar histórico que vale a pena ser visitado.
