  • Very well maintained and clean and as other parks of Curitiba is free. Well cared for animals, a great time to make with kids.

  • Good ride, but to get there goes through a very pleasant road, away from the Center. Entry and free parking, but with keepers. The location is beautiful, wooded, clean but needs to improve on signs. Need to have the mood to walk, recommend light clothes, sneakers and bottle of water.

  • Clean, well taken care of! Animals in good condition, clean and well taken care of! I went for 10 years and had more bears! I remember I loved them! Now I'm with my son and we never saw him. There are flamingos beautiful! It's worth a lot, free, with good shadows! Hat, water and shoes!

  • I don't know why other people complained about the zoo because they have clear signs , people that helped me Park , a place to eat, a clean bathroom and lots of animals that were well-kept. Just didn't have an elephant. You can walk the zoo in 2 hours. Best to arrive at 10 when they open. Plan to eat when you arrive or leave. Don't forget sunscreen or water. No need for insect repellent.
  • A bit sad, like most zoos are: the animala are not very active and in most cases they don't have much space available. Still, it was a fun way to spend few hours with the family.
  • Its free and great for walking, not the best selection of animals or best maintained zoo. Still a good day with the kids
  • Really nice park and well taken care of. The signs with the map of the park really need changing though. What's amazing is that it's free! Uber users might have difficulty getting a ride because of bad phone signal and few drivers nearby, but you can make due catching the municipal bus to the Boqueirão Bus station.

Where to stay in Curitiba

Wherever you choose to stay in the city, you'll be able to get from place to place on your Curitiba itinerary in a breeze, thanks to the rapid bus transit system. Most higher-end hotels sit in or very close to the city center, especially along the pedestrianized main street of Rua XV de Novembro. Stay here if you want quick access to the best shopping strip in town. You can look slightly out of the center, in the neighborhoods of Batel and Seminário, to mingle with the city's posh crowd. Curitiba's continuing growth in popularity with younger tourists means you can now find any number of budget youth hostels, mainly concentrated in the center and inner suburbs.
