  • Near other capitals that the municipal market is small, but like all worth the visit ... items with higher prices than elsewhere in the city, a food court with good options and own parking paid. Has a very nice coffee worth the stop.

  • Beautiful market where it has many varieties, places to eat and things typical of Curitiba. All very well ordered and with much movement and flow of people. Good for a coffee, happy hour, lunch and buy meat, coffee, fish and other items of cuisine.

  • The public market is a place where you are in a historic building and surrounded by varieties of fruits, vegetables, cheeses, and many other foods that you buy to prepare various delicacies of many nationalities. Is a perfect place also for who wants lunch, restaurant by the same.

  • There's a loooot of cool stuff that is hard to find anywhere else. Nuts, spices, cheeses etc. Can be a bit pricey but the quality of the products is very good. You can also have lunch with many stabilishments to choose from on the upper level.
  • Good and very clean place. Have most spices, lentils, beans, vegetables, alcohol, etc. Some place I read that they have gifts and presents shop which we couldn't find coz of which we decided to stop by there. There's food court and organic vegetables section. Few barbers, Oriental gifts etc in all a nice place to stop by
  • Great place to buy a lot of different fruits and grains. There's even stores for oriental stuff. Really nice place. You can also have lunch here.
  • Great place to find international flavors as well Brazilian goods. I usually go there for the nuts and fruits.
  • Getting bigger and better. Place where locals find food they can't find elsewhere. Good place to get good boutique coffee nowadays , especially beans. Check restaurants for typical feijoada on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Where to stay in Curitiba

Wherever you choose to stay in the city, you'll be able to get from place to place on your Curitiba itinerary in a breeze, thanks to the rapid bus transit system. Most higher-end hotels sit in or very close to the city center, especially along the pedestrianized main street of Rua XV de Novembro. Stay here if you want quick access to the best shopping strip in town. You can look slightly out of the center, in the neighborhoods of Batel and Seminário, to mingle with the city's posh crowd. Curitiba's continuing growth in popularity with younger tourists means you can now find any number of budget youth hostels, mainly concentrated in the center and inner suburbs.
