Estádio Major Antônio Couto Pereira, often shortened to Couto Pereira, is the home of Coritiba Foot Ball Club, located in Curitiba, Paraná state, Brazil. Its formal name honors the Major Antônio Couto Pereira, who was Coritiba's president in 1926, 1927, and between 1930 to 1933. He started the stadium construction.HistoryIn 1927, Major Antônio Couto Pereira, the club's president at that time, acquired a 36,300 m² area, paying for it a hundred contos de réis. At the same time were built the cabins, which reduced the stadium capacity, but also made it more comfortable.The inaugural match was played on November 20, 1932, when Coritiba beat América 4-2. The first goal of the stadium was scored by Coritiba's Gildo.

  • Indecent, the stench is unbearable and the State is deplorable. The concrete cracked in all parts of the enterprise, provide sewer pipe leak using the unmistakable aroma that lives up to the name.

  • Nice place to visit, very well attended, did a tur Express (at the time, just to meet the estadio) value of only 10 reais per person. Unlike arena da baixada, and only full schedules and defined tur, that's too bad for those who are just passing by.

  • At the top give Glory, a site interesting to know, if you're a fan of football. Has bars and cafes in the vicinity. The stadium is beautiful and well maintained.
