Where to stay in Cunha

A smattering of accommodations exists in the main urban area of the city, with family-run pousadas (guesthouses) and basic hotels the main options for visitors. Because so much of the city's tourism relies on its surrounding areas of green hills and rocky gorges, take a look at the options along the main road, Rod. Paulo Virginio. The north-south road stretches out into the wilder parts of the region and is dotted with interesting and comfortable accommodations, including boutique pousadas, cabins, campsites, and rental villas.

  • Exuberant place, went on a quiet evening. I was greeted by a water well cold but invigorating. The way there is easy and have signs signaling the waterfall. The water is not too deep, but you may be surprised with a hole. Worth the ride 😉

  • Linda! Worth the visit. Are three water falls and can't get up the first fall, via a side trail. There functioned an old hydroelectric power in the region
