  • We have seen the opening of furnaces and was a very cool experience. We had a class on the ceramic and your burn, thanks.

  • The pieces are beautiful, but extremely expensive. I don't think power. Already the Studio is beautiful, and I believe that is what else is worth the visit, especially if you're going to hear the explanation of the employees on the production of parts. I was willing to go back to view the opening of the ovens, which must be beautiful!

  • Great ceramics, definitely worth a visit.
  • The gardener met his wife in Japan where he was learning pottery ... Today's children, work with ceramics and has one of the largest Japanese-style kilns known as Noborigama. We participate several times their openings of furnaces that is something worthy of a documentary ... Mr. Gardener explains the process of burning, oven preparation, staining, parts storage in the furnaces, burning time and your wife live shows like paints a piece. After I explained this process, begin to open each door at any given time of day. Go on their website and find out the day of the opening of other Furnaces! His pieces are very characteristics and the location of the furnace and the pieces on display show a sense of aesthetics. Very beautiful!!!! Know the value of production of each piece. Don't expect to find very cheap thing!

Where to stay in Cunha

A smattering of accommodations exists in the main urban area of the city, with family-run pousadas (guesthouses) and basic hotels the main options for visitors. Because so much of the city's tourism relies on its surrounding areas of green hills and rocky gorges, take a look at the options along the main road, Rod. Paulo Virginio. The north-south road stretches out into the wilder parts of the region and is dotted with interesting and comfortable accommodations, including boutique pousadas, cabins, campsites, and rental villas.
