Where to stay in Cumuruxatiba

Look to the main coastal road for most of Cumuruxatiba's accommodations, though expect a fairly limited choice in this village that still retains its remote, rural character. Guesthouses with pleasant grounds leading down to the beach maintain reasonable prices, particularly during the quieter times of year. Pre-booking is essential because of the relatively meager amount of options available. Head along the coastal road due south and you'll find a slightly larger selection in the town of Prado.

  • This beach has a handful of spikes in the past say that was a pier for sand transport. Nothing out of the ordinary.

  • The pier is a characteristic type of place. Most people who visit's nothing else brings to memory at least one picture in the pier. We don't think it's the best beach to spend the day but worth knowing. Has several nice restaurants on this beach. Each warmer than the other ... some even has net!

  • A beautiful beach with calm and shallow waters (at low tide), I think that if the pier still existed it would be wonderful, I think you should have a sign telling the history of the pier, which I believe has to do with World War II.
