Where to stay in Cumbuco

Accommodations are never too far away from the action in Cumbuco because it's a compact town. A number of sizeable hotels sit directly on the beach and are equipped with swimming pools, on-site restaurants and unobstructed ocean views. Those who prefer smaller, quirkier properties should opt for a bed and breakfast, known locally as “pousadas.” Although Cumbuco’s offerings include several luxury guesthouses, pousadas tend to be good value and are, on the whole, more affordable than hotels. Guest planning a long stay may prefer the privacy and amenities of a house or apartment rental.

  • Is a beach in 80 years was point, but after the sea invaded and many houses were destroyed, the beach was forgotten. Today still has some good houses to rent, but the sea is a lot of debris from houses destroyed by the advancing sea. Recommend without children and to walk in a place more peaceful desert.

  • If you want to know beaches, right next to the fortress, which are about to be "swallowed up" by sea: Pacheco is one of them, while Iparana is another, both beaches prior to Icaraí, another Beach also in danger of disappearing due to the advance of the sea.
