Where to stay in Cuiaba

As a busy state capital and a major hub of commerce, Cuiaba provides a good selection of mostly mid-range hotels catering to budget visitors. Truly luxurious hotels are a rarity here, but you can choose from many decent establishments offering clean, bright rooms. Look for accommodations near downtown to stay close to the best shopping, dining, and entertainment options. For a more authentic visit, check out the city's pousadas (guesthouses), which often occupy one or more floors inside restored historical buildings.

  • It´s small, but you should go if you want to get to know the fauna from Brazil.  more »
  • An entertainment option in town, with easy access. The fish are not really "exceptional" but it's good to know the regional marine life.

  • For the 2014 Cup made a small reform in this Aquarium, but was very shy and poorly finished, now in 2016 he demolished and together with the work of revitalization of neighborhood tank promise a modern Port and better structured for visitors. I hope this time do a good work for the Cuiabanos and tourists deserve. Around in the neighborhood now has a huge Boardwalk with the food court have vastly improved.
