  • We were in Aracaju, by the way, wonderful place, but we decided to explore the southern Alagoas. I searched on the internet some beautiful beach in the South of Alagoas and found the beach Pontal do Coruripe, which looked beautiful in the pictures. We left early because the beach is 200 kms of Aracaju and set off to Pontal. Wrong way, you have to get right into the Federal police station to Penedo, and as google maps said there was another way, we ended up going for him but it was a dirt road in the middle of nowhere, or better, in the middle of sugar cane plantations! But, okay, after these hassles, and ask who met, we finally made it to paradise!!! Yes, that's wonderful, wall of coral reefs forming a stunning pool and still have a beautiful lighthouse. And to top it off, a small but beautiful restaurant, with great service, called Queen of the sea. Eaten a fish with delicious coconut milk, but the meat was also good. At the turn, closed with a flourish as we passed Rock and take the ferry to Sergipe that crosses the rio São Francisco, was too!!

  • The beach and very cool! Has a beautiful natural swimming pool for swimming. Ideal for children! Several species of fish! Be careful with the on-the-spot Moray! The sad thing is that my wife and I were with rental car and we left our bag in the car parked next to the lighthouse. Day of the week! 11:00 am! The Beach had more people!! When we got back in the car had broken down the door of the driver and driven our backpack that was with my wallet!! Result! I lost all the documents, money, cards and my driver's license! Restaurant staff of Bahia said he had never seen that happen, more later at the station knew that this occurs always on this beach!! And as usual no one saw anything!!!! We lost all day chasing BO and change the car with the lock busted!! Alert for anyone on this beach so be careful! Is a question of taking things to the beach and watch while showering or leave in the car! We chose to leave in the car and we were surprised!

  • Very nice beach, but the holidays and weekends lota, didn't like the amount of people we had in that place, people barbecuing on the beach ... the first time I went, it was a day of week common, no one on the beach and appeared to be much safer, in terms of not being stolen. So my advice is, go on weekdays and that is not a holiday. The beach is beautiful! Have one side of rough seas and a side of calm sea. Perfect beach (when it's not crowded).
