Estrada Parque do Pantanal, Corumba

(4.3/5 based on 200+ reviews on the web)
Cutting across the vast, tropical wetlands of the Pantanal, Estrada Parque do Pantanal crosses more than 200 bridges, and includes a ferry ride across the Paraguay River. Unlike the dense foliage of the Amazon, the open expanses of wetland are perfect for spotting the abundant local fauna. The ecosystem of the Pantanal is extraordinarily diverse, with around 1,000 species of bird alone. Six observation points along the road provide information about the wildlife of the region, and many roadside restaurants, inns, and ranches provide respite for the weary traveller. • He was one of the tours that we like. I walked with the family and we've been enjoying all the details of this wonderful road shows us in a simple way, without the need for script, guide, scheduling or supervising what is the pantanal. The landscape is beautiful, discover the animals that appear in the distance, it is very fun and exciting, you ultimately sharpen the look and see what normally would spend hit among many Greens. We stopped often, we passed slowly for each bridge. When suddenly, crosses in front of us a snake! You saw? Photographed? No, that's too bad ... it was so fast. First the shock and when you realize, she's been through, then you question to her husband: you see? Luckily, he responds: I saw a snake! We are the only witnesses of that fact, that surely will be with us until old age. I didn't have time to click, but it was worth the experience, next time we are in a State of constant alert. Follow the tips: 0-exit too early ... early ... look to be on the Earth at sunrise ... will have more chances to see the animals. 1-make car with air conditioning 2-if not a full season and not have rained a lot can be a car down and basic 3-fill (full tank) in Miranda-no posts 4-light snacks and water at the front of the car (easy to catch)-there is no snack bars, not 5-peddlers go of long pants, long-sleeved blouse that facilitates it when you get out of the car for the photo without great preparation with repellent. 6-pass and take insect repellent and sunscreen (when you open the door ... the insects end up entering) 7-take camera with zoom and binoculars (many birds and animals far) 8-don't be in a hurry, or wait ... short what happens with an open mind. You can't predict how many animals you'll see or how it will be ... but will be .... 9-Stop on the road still paved in Dona Maria do Jacaré (report made by fantastic) has a peculiar distinctive plate. We stopped on the way back and she was already tired to call them. 10-take cash so I can pay the passage by ferry, if you want to cross the river San Francisco and go to Corumbá. We came back from there, it traveled so well slow and we were tired and hungry.

  • I loved this trip, it was great to meet the Pantanal and the Paraguay River. We left the Park Road and follow until the Corumbá Port sleeve. We cross the Paraguay River by ferry (R$ 45.00 per vehicle). We continue, we can see various birds, Capybaras, jacares and a deer. We have lunch in a hotel, very good (R$ 35.00 per person). Follow our journey to the Otter and went out on the track (BR) in front of the Hole of the Piranhas. Drove normal 1.8 sloop, but in case of rain the car needs to be fixed. I believe in full is not possible, I believe that the water cross the runway.

  • We made a road trip my wife and I Park, and this time we were on a motorcycle. Beautiful place full of nature and interaction for those who enjoy adventure is fantastic. Traveled 122 km of dirt road with a ferry crossing the River Paraguay and ascent of serra do urucum. Fantastic experience recommend. Tip. a shame for being a tourist spot td ends up being very expensive, in one of the few places with some structure the access to internet is 10.00 R$ time absurd. among other abuses.
