Estrada Parque do Pantanal, Corumba

Categories: Scenic Drives, Outdoor Activities, Tourist Spots
Inspirock Rating:
4.4/5 based on 190+ reviews on the web
Cutting across the vast, tropical wetlands of the Pantanal, Estrada Parque do Pantanal crosses more than 200 bridges, and includes a ferry ride across the Paraguay River. Unlike the dense foliage of the Amazon, the open expanses of wetland are perfect for spotting the abundant local fauna. The ecosystem of the Pantanal is extraordinarily diverse, with around 1,000 species of bird alone. Six observation points along the road provide information about the wildlife of the region, and many roadside restaurants, inns, and ranches provide respite for the weary traveller. • The road was well preserved. It is a paradise of animals of the pantanal. You can see all the animals just transiting by road (in early or as close to sunset is best). The ferry crossing of the River Paraguay is fast and very quiet.

  • Although we did the Jeep 4 x 4 Park Road, in the dry season you can go very well with any car. The place is great for anyone who likes photo safari. In addition to MANY alligators the quantities of birds and animals, Anteaters, agoutis, monkeys and even an ocelot, surprising.

  • A road fully rustica, well preserved and where I could see the full nature of Wetland ... We can see various birds like macaws, blue Tuiuiu, garcas, jacares, including we were fortunate to see a snake jararaca nearly two meters.
