  • This " engenho " produces diferent types of cachaça and they have a history in this typical Brazilian drink. The first owner is related to Tiradentes himself and it has always been a family business. ...  more »
  • The Nando's explanation is very cool and full of "Tales", tasting of cachaça is a cool experience even for those who are not fond of drink, the alembic is a history lesson in the open. Tip: go on a Saturday which is when it happens to explanation of how is rum and like the alembic is still in the family. We arrived around 11:00 and soon began.

  • This mill has existed since the 18TH century. The techniques used in the device are traditional, although they have made all the necessary adjustments to meet the modern sanitary requirements. Cachaça ends d Esser premise to medal in a blind competition in Europe. Must-see tasting of cachaça with sausage from the sticks and pepper jelly!

  • If you are looking for good stories and a historical rum this is the place. Recommend to visit on Saturdays because it is possible to enjoy a nice sausage fair in the wood stove

  • I visited while in Tiradentes, cachaçaria is more or less 35 minutes of Tiradentes drive. Wonderful place, the owners are very friendly, I went on a Saturday and had a tasting of cachaça and sausage with Pepper Jelly pout, the owners explained the entire production process. The cachaça is made with organic cane sugar produced in the same place, also bought organic beans there. The site produces rum for 300 years, and in spite of having to adapt to new laws of hygiene, changing rock storage tanks for steel, the rum is the best I've ever tasted, I highly recommend the tour!!

  • Original 17th-century construction, delicious rum, trip and hope to be lucky enough to be received by Mr rubens, sixth generation of the family that owns the stills.

  • The owner, Fernando Xavier explained the whole process, from planting until the bottling, left us to experience various kinds of cachaça, excellent ride for who is passing through the region

  • Artisanal, very hot. Those who enjoy a little drinky-drinky will love the ride.
