  • Arriving in the city you will pass through it. The leaks set the name. It's made of stone and was dug by slaves.

  • Arriving in the Government, faced with the tunnel. In the old days, the only means of transportation was done on a mule, and therefore, if made necessary to create a railroad, and when they were doing the railroad came closest to a great mountain, and it was necessary to make the opening of a tunnel. It was opened with slave labor. The tunnel is all of stone and lit with old lamps to electricity and pavement in peanut brittle. It was created to give passage to the former Maria Fumaça. A source inside your own running pure water, the source of Nostalgia. The interesting thing, is that the legend says, anyone who drinks this water will never forget and always back the Conservatória.Se drink 1 glass-you come back; 2 cups-you rejuvenecerá, and 3 cups-you will have diarrhea because the water is ferruginosa and should not be drinking too much. I found interesting the story of this tunnel. My grandfather was and told me many stories of the railroads, and I was thrilled to go through the tunnel and remember my late maternal grandfather.

  • Small and remarkable! Too beautiful. I entered the city passing through it, but you can get in or out without going through the tunnel. Cute!!! Worth to visit him
