  • Get to the waterfall requires fitness. Are just 2.5 Km, but with descent/climb too steep with loose rocks. Access to the well is done finally by the River, jumping from one stone to another. If you are not well prepared, can be a very big effort. However, the view is simply amazing. Bathing is extremely cold (one of the more cold ones I've ever had the pleasure of diving), because the well has feet deep. Incredibly, I found the view along the way to the most beautiful waterfall the waterfall itself when you get there. By far, the format of the heart is crisp and around 1:30 pm-2:00 pm (late March, at least), the Sun forms the design even more perfect. However, it is better to go early to take advantage when you have the Sun in the well, ideally reach the waterfall around 11:00 (consider 2:00 to make quiet track). To go to the falls, first in the gazebo, from there you can continue up the trail to the well. Worth much even do this course. You can't go with small children, is dangerous.

  • From BH to the Serra do Cipó are 100 km, via Highway to Ends/Lagoa Santa, over 60 km to Conceição do Mato Dentro and more 18 KM on a dirt road to the entrance of the Park. The first 2/3 of the Earth are in good condition (can use fourth gear) and the last 1/3 in poor condition with holes and ditches (1st and 2nd gears). In the course of the road there are several fazendinhas and the small district of Board. With dry weather there is a lot of dust but it is possible to make the path in ordinary car despite some steep hillsides as well. With rain, unable to make the trip by car on the bog. Call ahead to the Secretary of tourism, and confirm that the road is dry. At the entrance of the park there are charging 10.00 and there are toilets and water filter. Whether alone or as a pair is advised to wait to get more people to do the trail in group. If you are in a group, you do not need to tab to the footpath. However, for the trail over the waterfall (more extensive and time consuming) it is necessary to guide. There is a lookout point shortly after the entrance to the Park. Lightweight trail shoes; track pants (that full of pockets); jacket sleeve (if you have one) to support your hands on the floor and on the rocks; bathing suit; 2 loops (a younger one for use in the car on roundtrip) and other older to do the trail; Cap; small towel; sunscreen; bag of chips + cereal bars; 1.5 liter of water; cell phone to photograph/film. The trail has pit moderate and difficult parts. Is trail for adults in good physical condition. Ida: 1:15 time with stops for photos and time back: 1:05. The first part is moderate and was prepared by the Ministry of tourism and have a walk along the small bones of contention and beginning the descent on steps carved in the rock. The second part is the most complicated: abrupt descent without warning and without shrubs or trees for support and with loose rocks. Is to come down with the support of the hands on the floor. Third part is easy well marked trail in the Woods. Just remember to look back and memorize the point of exit from the track to remember in back. At this point, there is a very large slab and good for rest. Fourth part: at the River, climbing the rocks. It's fun and dangerous at the same time. Near the well is infeasible to continue by the bed of the river and, therefore, between the Woods to the right by about 15 meters and then return to the bed of the river. If swimming, remember that the well is deep, cold water and death has already occurred in 2016 because of cramp. Enjoy the look and save breath for the ascent of the mountain in the back.

  • Precarious trail, virtually without signaling. We spent 2 hours to go to the well and 1 hour and a half to come back. For those who are interested in going, you have to have a good physical fitness trail has complicated sites. But worth it when you get in the pit and a beautiful view.
