  • Los Free Shops are interesting, with some much cheaper products than on the buquebus, up to 20 U$ S in some cases) and with abundant offers of items of all kinds, including dulce de leche Uruguayan and Argentine wines. You have to know where to buy because the Uruguayan products are cheaper in supermarkets, for example black truffles that I paid in dollars were cheaper in the store English of Montevideo, and sweet Conaprole are everywhere. There are 2 or 3 outlets of clothing and footwear with good offers, in addition to the individual of each business. It should take them scoring the prices of what interests you in each, and then buy all the products together as there are minimum amounts for the purchase card. There are usually promotional gifts with the purchase of two or more bottles of different whiskies (bags, chairs) Beach, etc. There are places that offer tools and products for sports (surfboards, etc) how Argentines have to pass through Uruguayan territory to return (not Brazilian) then you may have problems with electronic large (TV, music, etc.), does not believe vendors that say that, since the customs of the route you will be asked to send them by boat!. I haven't had problems with food, drinks, some perfume or reasonably small things in reasonable amounts. With Brazilian products (garoto, cachaca, coconut milk, sweet guava). Take advantage to see Hering and cheap havaiannas shirts. There is a large Indian store. The attention is friendly in general, and is a good experience compare the food of both sides of the street dividing, similar but with some differences interesting, good and cheap (respect to BsAs) in them two sides

  • It is a very small town which has the distinction of being a party in Brazil and one in Uruguay. The divide between the countries is a street. Brazil side there are supermarkets, various shops and shoe stores of poor quality. The Uruguayan side there are very good Free shops. It is worth going to compare if it is hosted by. I am sure that will find much cheaper food in Uruguay.

  • Itself, small integrated border town between Brazil on one side, and Uruguay on the other. You can buy almost everything here, I thought it was a safer place than others that have similar characteristics. In relation to the natural, it has a beautiful coastline also.
