  • To get to the track, if you come from the RS, cross the bridge the State line up the mountains and soon after the first speed bump between the right, has a portal indicating the route from Uruguay, but is poorly signposted, pay attention. You will walk four miles of dirt road to get to the Trail of the Picu. The site is a privately owned, without infrastructure. Cobra R$ 10.00 per person to make the trail. Has some dish-ground and tables to make lunch. The daughter has is two miles round trip with various levels of difficulty. Are 5 waterfalls to the total, until the first access of older people, children and people unprepared and resistance. The first on requires various levels of difficulty. The trail is steep and slippery in some points. Suggests that takes 2:00 to do if all of it, back and forth, we take 4:00, 3 hours to come up with stops to enjoy all the waterfalls and 1 hour to climb down without stops. Take a change of clothes light and comfortable only for the track as well as a pair of sneakers for that, because you will get wet and get dirty, take 2 l of water, insect repellent and snack, natural and fruit sandwich are great recommendations. The track is bad flagged and without any infrastructure, but follow the stream that you don't get lost. There's what you buy to eat there, except a bag of chips and water. A location frequented by families, good for rest. There's no mobile signal. Does not accept card. Has place to leave your car parked. Have fun!

  • I loved the waterfalls, beautiful place. Also to observe the silence just listen and enjoy the beauty that nature offers us. Animals, birds, species of plants etc. ..

  • It's a private place, you have to pay to visit. There's no guide. The location is nice, but should have more information and signage. We went with my father, which has more than 60 years, he had a lot of trouble, fell in some parts of the trail, was worrisome. We were able to get only the first Waterfall. Is a good option for those looking for adventure, and will well equipped. Children and the elderly requires more attention. As a paid attraction the site doesn't offer much security.

  • Trilha do Pitoco...
